Preparing for Pasqua

We took it easy this weekend, because I was recovering from a cold that David had the week before, and now we are preparing for Easter (Pasqua) weekend. Andrea is arriving tomorrow morning and staying for three weeks (YAY!), and David's friend Montu (YAY!, who was in our wedding) is coming with his girlfriend for the weekend. Easter is big here, but even bigger is little Easter (Pasquetta), which is the Monday after Easter. We are having a big party at Fabio's country house, which is about 20 minutes away from Orvieto. This is my first Pasquetta, so I am very excited! And I am sure I will have lots of pictures to share.

I have had several requests for me to post pictures of food. I am trying really hard to remember to take the pictures BEFORE I start eating it, but its proving to be almost impossible. Sunday night for dinner David and I went to his friend Christian's restaurant, Trattoria del Moro. The food is always amazing! And as you can see, I could not control myself long enough to get any good pictures. I completely missed the antipasto course, which was assorted wild boar cold cuts and bruschetta con baffo. David finished his primi piatti before me, so there is no picture of that ;)
