Vacanza, Dinner at Home

The day we went to Matera, early in the morning Vitopaolo's parents dropped off about 50lbs of fruit and vegetables for us. We spent the day at the beach and that night we made dinner at home and had Vitopaolo's brother and two of his friends over. We had grilled eggplant, pepper, onion and zucchini, a wonderful fresh tomato sauce with ricotta salata over orecchiette pasta. The boys were in charge of grilling on the roof deck and Bonnie made the pasta, I wasn't very useful other than keeping her company. Dinner was great!!! After dinner we taught the Italians how to play Bullshit (stronzata). This went over well with them, we had a blast!!!
