Vacanza, The Beach

I had to share some pictures I took at the beach. Not only was it beautiful, but there was also a lot going on during the day besides swimming and sunbathing. On the walk to the beach we would go through a forest area with some really interesting pine trees. Very different from the dunes of the Cape.

In general Italians are much less self conscious then Americans, women wear bikinis no matter what age or size, many men wear speedos, and organized dancing on the beach is a norm. We did not participate in the dancing, but I did snap a few pictures. Also, the circus was in town and they brought camels to the beach as advertising. It was a very entertaining place to spend the day!
