Like I promised a few weeks ago, here are some pictures of the inside of our apartment. It is a centrally located, two story walk up, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, fireplace and a loft. We are on the top floor of the building so our ceiling is the roof, the lowest part is about 10 feet high, and I would guess the highest part is over 20 feet. The owner just finished remodeling everything before we moved in, so the roof, floors, walls, kitchen, bathroom and fixtures are all new. There are parquet wood floors throughout the apartment and the ceiling is traditional, exposed wood beam and terracotta tile.
The apartment came with a small kitchen and white table, dining table with 4 chairs, couch, large console table, 2 unmatched side tables, ugly glass cart thing that seems to work well as a bar, guest bed, big box TV, wicker chair you can't sit on, office storage and bookshelf in the loft, a plastic outdoor table and 2 chairs that I will use for painting and a Pinocchio puppet. We are done with all the big things, our bed, 2 bedside tables, dresser, 2 bookshelves, flat screen TV, coffee table, lounge chair, folding chairs for extra dinner guests, kitchen island, white cabinet and shelves, and a few plants (2 of which I have somehow almost killed). Now, I just want to find more paintings and things for the walls, but we will get those on our travels.
